We ended up being super busy before we took off for Utah. It was great because we were able to spend time with friends and get some good stuff checked off of our summer bucket list. :) One of those things was going to a Cubs game. I'm not really a baseball person. I don't understand much about it, but I loved going to Wrigley Field and experiencing a real, major league baseball game. :) We went with Scott and Sandy, so it was also a good time to spend with them before we left. :) Although I still don't understand much that went on in the game, I was glad that we had a true Chicago experience. :)

Looking back on it, we should have gotten hotdogs... |
I think he was just really happy to be there. :) |
We were pretty
decked out in red, white and blue. :)

Oh and we totally got peanuts. :) |
On our drive back to Utah, we decided we wanted to take a different route than we took on our way to Chicago. The plan was to go through Missouri, Kansas and Colorado; hit some more church sites and see some different things. :)
We were also able to stop in Kansas and have dinner with one of my best friends, Lauren and her husband, Zach. It was soooo soo good to see her! I wish I would have taken pictures, but of course I didn't think about it. Next time! :)
We had also planned on a visit to Arches on our way back to Salt Lake, but we were too close and tired to stop driving. Plus we really wanted to finish listening to Ender's Game. :)

We started our trip off right with
Duncan Donuts and chocolate milk. :) |
We saw these a lot.
I think they're kind of cool. :) |
Adam-ondi-ahman. We found it eventually. :) |
This was taken at Tower Hill by Adam-ondi-ahman. |
We had to take some photos with the pretty scenery. :) |
I don't understand this pose, but I
like it. And I'm proud of him for
letting me take a picture. :) |
We were the only people there. |
These flowers were at Adam-ondi-ahman. Of course they're
beautiful. :) |
Liberty Jail, Missouri. |
A model of Liberty Jail. Such an
interesting place. I love church history. :) |
The Kansas City, Missouri Temple. Soo beautiful. :) I
wish we could have gone inside. |
I think Bri took this picture. He should
be a professional. :) |
