Our little Eurotrip… Paris

Our second stop in Europe was Paris. Oh man, Paris is a crazy place. We hopped on a plane in London and an hour later, we were in Paris! It's crazy that all of these amazing places are so close to each other. We stayed in a perfect little hotel off a busy square and loved it!

While we were in Paris, we were super jet lagged. I think we even took a nap while we were there. Not one of our better moments. :) I felt like we also learned the most in Paris. It wasn't really what we expected, but we liked the city and I wouldn't mind going back. Especially since we LOVED the food. Crepes, baguettes, fruit, cheese…Oh man, THE BEST! :)

View from our hotel room.
So high up and a very Parisian. :)

Our hotel had the tiniest elevator.

Our first meal that we had in Paris.
We definitely had to try macarons.
This one was huge. :)

A beautiful building that I should
probably know the name of…:)

Champs Elysees selfie!
See the Arc de Triomphe in the background?
This was the first place we visited when we got off the plane.

It was such a busy, crazy street.

Lots of shopping and lots of people.

All of the surrounding streets lead to the
Arc which is in a round about in the middle.

Laduree is a cafe/restaurant that is famous for their macarons. We didn't end up trying any, but we had to go for Haylee. :)

Such pretty window displays!

Arc de Triomphe selfie.
It was windy and we were tired, as you can tell. :)
It was a beautiful spot though! :)

Inside the Arc. Such beautiful details! :)

This was on the side of the Arc. Kind of awesome, right? :)

After the Arc, we went to the Eiffel Tower.
It was so much taller than I expected!

It wouldn't even fit in my pictures. :)

City of Love. :)

I'm pretty sure that this was the best meal of our entire trip.
We got some yummy things like

this baguette and sat on the square
by our hotel and people watched. :)

We started out our second day in Paris at Versailles. We didn't actually go in because the line was four hours long and we were very jet lagged. Kind of lame, but I guess that just means that we'll have to go back. :)

So ready for a nap! :)

Later that afternoon, we went to the Louvre! It was amazing. :)

Such a cool building! :)

Louvre panoramic. :)

From the inside.

Obligatory Mona Lisa selfie.

The Wedding Feast at Cana by Veronese. This painting was across from the Mona Lisa. It was HUGE and probably my favorite. It has so much detail and color, which is kind of looked over because it's across from the Mona Lisa

The Seine. After the Louvre,
we walked across the bridge for lunch.

Crepes!!! We're still addicted…:)

I loved these magnets. :) So perfect.

The third day, we tried to go to church,
but we got the time wrong and missed it.
At least we found where it was! :)

Luckily the Pompidou was across the
street from the church.

Strange street performers.

The back of the Pompidou. It's such an interesting building. :)

I loved this painting by Picasso.
It's totally different from anything
else that I've seen of his. :)

The Pompidou had amazing views of Paris. It really is such a beautiful city. :)

Montmartre and Sacre Coeur.

Beautiful picture of the Eiffel Tower,
except for the crane. There was construction everywhere...

There was also some sweet graffiti. :)

Cute boy. :)

I LOVE this picture. :)

We found this crazy street with lots
 of food! The best! :)

We got these delicious gyros. Oh man, sooo good.
Clearly I was enjoying it. :)

And of course we got crepes. :)

An Art Nouveau metro station. :)

The rose window at Notre Dame.

Sooo beautiful! Can I have one of these in my house? :)

The Apostles.
Details from outside Notre Dame. :) Very cool. :)

There are so many beautiful details, like this guy, on
Notre Dame. It's such a beautiful building. :)

Also, the gargoyles are awesome!! :)

So pretty! :)

We found a nice little macaron shop
so I could get some for Haylee. :)
So cute, right? :)

Our last stop in Paris was Sacre Coeur
which is at the top of Montmartre street.
It was the perfect way to say goodbye to crazy Paris. :)

From the top! :)

I can't leave out the crazy vendors that were all over the city. They were seriously everywhere...

Goodbye, Paris.
